We’ve made it back to the car and after that drove to the Mt Robert Car Park and walked the short distance to the lookout

Lakehead Hut, the people I met there all told me the weather forecast for the next few days was very bad with lots of rain, which made me decide to return home the next day (which is today) and try again in a short while when (if) the weather improves

Crossing the Travers River when it’s so cold is not the nicest thing to start the day

Shame about the bad weather the coming days as today it’s actually pretty nice
