And we’re on the other side of the mountain again, walking through alll the grass, just look how high they are!

Through the forest

Some welcome shade

As it’s quite hot now when walking with a heavy pack out in the open under a blue sky

That was the last of the high grasses

Now there’s just some more forest left

And it’s easy to walk with a well formed path

Back on the road and at the car, the power lines are the ones coming from the Underground Powerhouse at the Lake Manapouri West Arm which I visited many years ago
