An easy short walk today. from Godley Head to Breeze Col<\/a> via the Breeze Bay Walking Track and back via the Breeze Col Loop Track<\/a>, in the photo the Breeze Bay Walking Track not long after the beginning<\/p><\/div>\n

Shortly thereafter we can see pretty much the whole of Lyttelton Harbour<\/p><\/div>\n

Taylors Mistake, Whitewash Head and Sumner Head where I regularly fly with my paraglider<\/p><\/div>\n

It’s also here we can see remnants of the defence battery bunkers<\/p><\/div>\n

During WWII they were looking out for the enemy from here, an enemy there never showed up, they couldn’t be bothered<\/p><\/div>\n

From here the track goes back down to Godley Head, Rachel is a little ahead of me<\/p><\/div>\n

In another bunker we find some bird’s nest, no bird though<\/p><\/div>\n

We also drive to Lyttelton and have a look around the Lyttelton<\/a> Timeball<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n
