I had dived the Similan Islands before<\/a> and liked it so much that I decided to go there again. Unfortunately the visibility wasn’t as good as the previous time so the video (at the bottom of this post) isn’t as nice as I would have liked it to be.<\/p><\/div>\n

Above the water everything was fine though<\/p><\/div>\n

Donald Duck Bay, where I was told off by our drill sergeant for swimming from the boat all the way to the beach, is dangerous!<\/p><\/div>\n

We did our one and only night dive in this bay, our boat is the one in the middle, seen from the back, the Manta Queen III<\/p><\/div>\n

Instead of sleeping in our cabin we slept on the deck, much nicer and great for stargazing<\/p><\/div>\n

The food wasn’t particularly great but the boat was not too bad<\/p><\/div>\n

Philip (bald, big beard), Jan Philipp (man bun) and Jan (beard) were my dive buddies this trip, I met Philip earlier this year in NZ<\/p><\/div>\n

Those were our dives, I skipped #14 as I expected visibility to be extremely poor but the others said it wasn’t too bad so I did the second dive at the Boonsung wreck<\/p><\/div>\n

Back on land and off to dive HQ<\/p><\/div>\n

Which was here, next time I will go with the Oktavia again<\/p><\/div>\n
