Not the best start of the day, all cloudy and nippy<\/p><\/div>\n

But when east driving on the Edwards Valley Track there is some blue sky to be seen<\/p><\/div>\n

Luckily not much oncoming traffic, except for a few horses just before<\/p><\/div>\n

It’s really cool to be able to go these places where I would not have been able to go without a 4WD<\/p><\/div>\n

Inside Scotties Camp Hut, hiding from the sandflies outside<\/p><\/div>\n

Scotties Camp Hut again and the road towards Charlie’s Saddle, where we will park the car and go for a hike<\/p><\/div>\n

We’re on our hike here, the views are great<\/p><\/div>\n

View towards the Waiau Uwha river, yesterday we were in the same valley just quite a bit further north of here<\/p><\/div>\n

Very bright sunlight in my eyes<\/p><\/div>\n

Next time I’ll drive the Jimny down here, for some camping<\/p><\/div>\n

Big smile<\/p><\/div>\n

This is as far as we can go along this part of the St James Cycle Trail, there used to be a bridge right here but something happened to it and it’s no longer there<\/p><\/div>\n

Almost back at the car<\/p><\/div>\n
