I went to the Hoyts Entx cinema today and still had my camera in my bag so decided to take some photos, this is the South City Shopping Centre

The Christchurch CBD is depressingly ugly

Nothing really stands out

All the new buildings are mostly glass monstrosities

I wish there was more of this kind of stuff (Hide on St Asaph St)

Cafe Valentino, good pizza here and nice atmosphere, just wish they would remove the TV from the wall, I intensely dislike it when pubs display sports on big screens, it’s boring and distracting

Wilson Parking, absolutely horrible. Big effing money grabbers. Everybody hates them. Just google “Wilson parking sucks”.

I guess the public has been trying to make the fence look a little less depressing

At least there are some murals that are quite cool, no idea who the dude is though

Someone can proudly tell at the dinner table later on that they made the world a better place today…

Seriously, who’d want to live here? I assume it’s some residential building

At least EntX did a decent job of providing some fun

There’s lots to do here, including 10 pin bowling

Not a lot of people yet but it has great potential

And very flattering mirrors
