Yesterday we drove all the way to the Mavora Lakes

The weather kind of sucks today

When there was a bit of a blue sky I quickly send the drone up, this is looking back towards South Mavora Lake

We decide to go on a hike towards Careys Hut

One day I’ll drive through this in a 4WD, today we walk around it

I see a face in here (there’s a name for that)

It’s a long walk but the scenery is nice

When it’s not raining that is, between these sunny photos there was quite a bit of rain

We made it

Careys Hut and some vague person

How better to enjoy a rest than with a can of Diet Coke?

It’s a nice hut, unfortunately we won’t be staying, maybe a next time

We’re heading back to the campsite

Which is another 10 km

Through sun

And (impending) rain

Almost back

It was a nice walk, we’ll be back here some day
