The walk is about an hour’s drive north of Christchurch
There are some nice views of the ocean
And goes down to the beach
Which is much very different from the Christchurch beach we’re used to

The beach
I guess this is all limestone
It reminds be a bit of the Clay Cliffs near Omarama
We are searching for some lookout but have trouble finding it, the search lead us into this valley
And up this ridge, which was quite a scramble
Still haven’t found that lookout, now I need to get back down onto the beach again
Map of the 13 km track which took us 4.5 hours to complete. In the end we did find the lookout and it was nowhere near where we were searching for it, just another case of very bad signage
