Today we took the Jimny for a drive through the Okuku River riverbed

It’s proper offroad driving with sometimes big boulders in the water that are hard to detect, the spot here in the photo it doesn’t look dangerous but crossing this part would have certainly damaged the car, so I turned around here

Absolutely beautiful spots here along the river, great for a day out

And even the water temerpature is nice

We parked the Jimny and had a bit of a walk as well

My divining rod seems to work

We had a few swims in the river today, like here at this tree.
